Leadership
Arthur L. Brown, II
Senior Minister
Brother Arthur Brown is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He has been a member of the Lord’s Church for over 30 years and has been preaching and teaching God’s word for over 20 years. His ministry began as Singles Minister at Westside Church of Christ under the leadership of the late Senior Minister Willie “Pete” Jackson. He received his AA from Florida Community College in 1999. He achieved his Certificate in Evangelism in 2003 under the direction of Charlie McClendon, Senior Minister Northside Church of Christ. He has a Certificate of Bible Studies from Ames International School of Ministry 2008 and Bachelors in Biblical Studies from Ames University in 2010 with a major in Ministry Leadership and a minor in Christian Counseling. He served as Assistant Minister for the Miller Street Church of Christ for five years under Senior Minister Mike Jackson. He also
served as Assistant Minister for the NorthBound Church of Christ under Elisha Taylor Jr, Senior Minister who also ordained him as Minister of the Gospel in February 2018. Brother Brown now serves as the Senior Minster for NorthBound Church of Christ. He and his wife Latisha have been married for 15 years and they have 3 lovely daughters. He is God's messenger and a servant to His people. His message is simple; Love Evry1 4Give Each1 Judge No1.
Jermal D. Butler
Assistant Minister
Jermal D. Butler was born on November 7, 1986 in Jacksonville, FL. He began his ministry on Sunday, March 16, 1997 where he was baptized by his grandfather, the late Nolan Butler, at the Westside Church of Christ, Jacksonville, FL under the Leadership of the late Senior Minister Willie Pete Jackson. He served as the Youth Director of the Westside Church of Christ from 2010 – 2016 and other capacities of the congregation during his years there. Jermal has preached at several church programs, youth conferences and rallies. In September 2014, he received his Biblical Studies Diploma from Ames International School of Ministry. Currently, Jermal is pursuing a degree in Funeral Services and a degree in Biblical
Studies with a concentration on Youth Ministry. He served as the Youth Director at the NorthBound Church of Christ, Jacksonville, FL from 2016 – 2018 under the leadership of Senior Minister Elisha Taylor, Jr. and Assistant Minister Arthur L. Brown, II. Jermal was ordained as the Youth Minister of Northbound, under the leadership of Senior Minister Elisha Taylor, Jr. He and his wife Shawna have been married for 6 years and they have two lovely daughters Jernee & Makayla. Jermal encourages all to "...be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid…”. Joshua 1:9 KJV.
